Dear Tired Mommy,
I am sorry that you have had a restless eight months. I am wondering though why you didn't figure out earlier that teaching your child to go to sleep on his own and having him sleep through the night is well worth it, and not that difficult once you are diligent about it. Why didn't you go to the library earlier and check out that amazing book that helps you understand the science behind it, and helps you devise a plan and carry it out.
I am proud of you though that you finally did it, but hopefully you will learn with your next child to not wait so long to do it........

Yeah!! What finally worked? I have to pull the tough love act with Jacob. He is waking up at least once a night most nights. Last night I couny my lucky stars he didn't get up, but I gave him water for a while, then the second wake up, I lay with him until he goes back to sleep. IT is so hard, but well worth it when they finally figure out that they can make it 11 hours without eating!
