Memorial Day Weekend

Brogan and I went to Idaho to be with my family during memorial weekend. Unfortunately Jason had to stay home, but we still had a good time.

Saturday we went to Silver city. A Ghost-town that used to be a mining city. All of the houses and stores were in there original state, but we couldn't go through them because they have all been purchased and now people use them as cabins.

This was once the Silver city post office

Mom and Dad
Jaymie was trying to teach me how to "pose" for the camera...... I need some practice...and a tan!
Brogan enjoyed the view of Silver city

Sunday morning we went to the Buhl cemetery to decorate graves. This has been a tradition in my family since I can remember. I love hearing Grandma Quigley tell us the history of our ancestors.

On Monday we had a big yummy BBQ and a May Madness birthday party for Five nieces and nephews. The party started out with a little game of pin the tale on the Jackalope....(Courtesy of Jaymie!)

Then it was time for cupcakes. Brogan turned one on the 26th! (More to come about his birthday in post to come.)

After the Birthday bash we went to the movies.
At Grandma Quigley's house there is always time to catch a few snakes

Thanks family for the wonderful weekend!
