So much to Say

I haven't blogged in so long that I am feeling overwhelmed right now......It's like I forgot how to blog........I don't know where to start. Ah deep breath, here goes my effort:

I think I'll start with Jason.

Jason is finally finished with school for the summer (well at least for now, he may take a math class starting the end on June.) His last month of school was absolutely crazy. He was ALWAYS at the school or working and became a stranger in our home. Now he is enjoying his homework/test free life and just working full-time here at the apartments. He can choose his own hours and we see him frequently throughout the day! Needless to say Brogan and I are so happy to have him around more now!

This summer we are looking forward to camping trips, a trip to Jason's old stomping grounds in Washington, many walks to the park, BBQ's, and mom and tot swimming!

Next on to Brogan:

Hmm what can I say about our wonderful Brogan! He is absolutely the sweetest boy! He is so fun and easy going. He has the cutest personality. His vocabulary consists of "Da-Da", and "Mmmm" when he wants a bit of our food. He claps his hands and gives us high fives. He is starting to stand up by himself and take a few steps. Honestly I don't think he is in a real big hurry to start walking though. He is pretty content crawling and walking around the furniture. Everyday Jason and I state how lucky we are to be parents to such a wonderful boy!

Next up I would have posted a million pictures of Brogan, but I don't have any. At the moment I don't have a camera (Thank goodness mothers day is coming up...hint hint wink wink!) I am sad that I have missed capturing many great moments lately. Professional pictures of Brogan and the fam are on our schedule this next week, but besides that, hopefully I can get a new camera and start taking more every day pictures.......

I guess that just leaves an up-date on yours truly:

Sometimes I ask myself, what have I been up to lately? I stay busy, but at the end of the day I still wonder what I have accomplished. Lately I have been pretty sick. The cat is out of the bag already so I guess I will make it official: We are expecting baby #2! We are super excited for Brogan to have a play mate, but at this point it is hard to get excited because I have been pretty sick. Next week will be the start of my second trimester, so hopefully I will start noticing a significant difference.

I am starting to feel the need for a sewing project. I bought a really cute flirty skirty (apron) pattern! After I make that my next project will be a piece quilt!

This past weekend my sweet mother came down and we went to Women's Conference together. I had a wonderful time. Thanks mom for coming with me! AN ENORMOUS THANKS is due to my sister Alesha and my wonderful husband for watching Brogan for two days so I could go. I came home after the closing session feeling very up-lifted and motivated to be better person. The speakers were amazing and I already can't wait to go next year.
