Introducing Abigail Mae Hirschi

She is here! Abby was born Thursday October 29 at 7:50. Sparing all details unless requested, labor and delivery went very well. The Dr. said the delivery was "text book" as far as natural labor goes. She weighed in at 6 lbs 12 ozs and she is 18 inches.

Brogan wasn't able to come to the hospital because of extra precautions on the swine flu. He has been staying at Aunt Amy's house. We are so excited for him to meet his little sister.

We are able to come home this evening. Brogan will be joining us tomorrow. We are so thrilled to have our little princess here with us. Thanks for all your prayers and calls!

Too Smart

Brogan's favorite song to sing is "The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round." When I start singing the part about the momma's on the bus he does the motions with me, you know the momma's on the bus say "Shh Shh Shh" and he proceeds to put his finger to his lips while he says Shh.

So yesterday while I was in the bathroom getting ready for the day, Brogan came in to keep me company. He climbed up on the toilet and started playing with the clock on the wall. I asked him to please stop playing with the clock. After I told him no, he still kept playing with it. Then I said, "Brogan what did momma say?" (Don't ask me why I asked a 17 month old this) Brogan's response, "Shh Shh Shh!"

Expecting........

EXPECTING: Due November 2nd. What does that really mean though? I think due dates are a joke. The baby decides when they really want to make their big depute into the world...(usually in the middle of the night.) sometimes they come really early, and sometimes they come much later than mommy would want.

I started nesting way too early, now I am just exhausted, and the baby will probably come on the day I just have no energy to clean. Every time I get the laundry all done, the floors mopped and vacuumed and my weekly menu planned with the fridge stocked, another week passes by.....no baby. I just bought two gallons of milk yesterday, will this baby come before the milk runs out? It's like waiting for a big balloon to pop (that was kind of literal), but you never know just when it will happen.
So here's to sitting, and hoping, and wishing and dreaming.....

O Baby

I think I am officially ready for baby to come. Clothes are washed and put away, diapers bought, and car seat set up. I have been seriously nesting lately. I feel like I have to vacuum and mop everyday just in case.....(It's going to be a long four weeks of cleaning.) Besides cleaning everyday, I have made some fun girl accessories:
